Our mission is to guide Christians toward spiritual growth, helping them thrive rather than just survive, amidst the challenges of today’s world. We believe in empowering disciples through personal mentorship, community, and a deeper relationship with Jesus. These disciples can stand as lights in the darkness, equipped with the character, authority, and power of the Kingdom of God.

The Journey behind OWJ: The story of IHOPE Missions Base

The path to One With Jesus began with a vision that was set in motion years ago through the ministry of IHOPE (Discipleship Training Center). For over 20 years, IHOPE served as a hub for believers who sought to deepen their Christian faith and spiritual walk. It was during this time that God imparted wisdom and revelation about discipleship that went beyond the traditional church model, paving the way for what One With Jesus has become today.

A defining moment came when founder Dr. Michael Peters had a life-changing encounter with Jesus. Through this visitation, Michael was enveloped in God’s unconditional love, which shook the foundations of his previous performance-based faith. This experience not only transformed Michael personally, but it set the course for One With Jesus, a ministry focused on helping others experience that same depth of relationship with Christ.

The lessons learned at IHOPE, combined with fresh revelation and a call to focus on Kingdom discipleship, have shaped One With Jesus into a ministry designed to empower individuals and leaders to live out their God-given destinies.

The 90-Day Discipleship Program

Dr. Michael Peters has dedicated over 30 years to teaching, mentoring, and equipping Christian leaders and believers with impactful discipleship. As a seasoned author, speaker, and ministry leader, he specializes in guiding people through his unique discipleship program. Dr. Peters’ ability to communicate deep spiritual truths through relatable, real-life stories enables him to inspire others to receive healing and advance the Kingdom of God. Together with his wife, Mary Jo—whom he fondly calls his "CEO" (Chief Encouragement Officer)—Dr. Peters has traveled the world, serving those in need and sharing the Gospel. Married for 40 years, the couple enjoys outdoor adventures and cycling. They are blessed with three sons, two daughters-in-law, and three grandchildren.
